Question: falling leaves

Hi, they gave me a ginseng bonsai, these days I am noticing that it loses a large number of green leaves, is it normal considering the season? or is it a lack of water? in fact it is not as good as regulating myself for watering. Thank you

Answer: falling leaves

Dear Angela,

ficus ginseng bonsai are evergreen apartment plants, therefore the loss of foliage is certainly due to a problem, probably to be found in a water imbalance. Throughout the year these plants love to have a moist soil, not soaked with water, simply damp. So in winter you can water it even only sporadically, checking with your fingers if the soil is dry. In the house there is often a very dry climate, it is therefore good to often vaporize the crown of the bonsai, and most of the houseplants
