Question: Tree peony

Dear expert, I bought some "tree" peony plants, I have a problem, since the pots of these plants are very small, I would like to transfer them to a bigger one, do I have to use acidic soil or universal terrice?

I await your reply with many thanks.

Thanks Clery

Tree peony: Answer: Tree peony

Peony is a plant that does not require acidophilic soils. So you can safely use normal universal soil (to which I recommend adding a little sand). The best period for repotting is spring, in well-drained soil. During the summer the peonies must be watered very abundantly (without however leaving water in the saucer, to avoid the onset of fungal parasites).
